Rounder Europe will be releasing British outfit Danny Bryant’s Redeye Band‘s sixth CD, ‘Black And White’ in 2008 and they will be touring the United Kingdom in April.
Former Savoy Brown vocalist Chris Youlden has been seriously ill but Graham Vickery (aka Shakey Vick) reports that he is now on the mend. Our best wishes to you, Chris.
Upcoming from reggae reissue label Pressure Sounds is the debut album of Bob Marley mentor, the late Jamaican singer Joe Higgs. Life Of Contradiction (Pressure Sounds PSCD 58) was originally released in 1975 and is a reggae set of course. However, American jazz guitar ace Eric Gale is among the backing musicians and his influence is sometimes pronounced both in his own breaks and the arrangements.
