BA (BluesArt) - Toni it was so nice to see and hear you again.

TS (Toni Spearman) : It was nice being in Vienna again, I got an e-mail from Peter Wollner, the bass player from the G.G. King Band, asking me if I would be the guest singer with their band on the ''Vienna Blues Spring Festival'', I enjoyed working with the G.G. King Band, we had lots of fun doing the rehersals, getting ready for the festival, it's a different sound from what I'm use too with my band, because I have a more of a rock sound, it's always good motivation to work with other bands. It keeps you aware of your own sound and what you're doing with it. I also enjoyed "very much" being on stage with Eddie ''Devil Boy'' Turner, Eddie's style is every much like mine.

BA - What are your next TOUR days for the USA?

TS : My tour in the USA starts on the 1st of July until the 26st of July, I'll be touring the State of South Carolina, I have rehersal with the band in the USA, then we'll on the road, I will also going back to the USA to do a ''Benefit Concert'' for homeless children in December. The last Concert we did in 2008 my band and I received an award from Sen. Floyd Nicholson, for our work for homeless children.

The Band is in the US:

Claude Harrison-Drums, Tommy Mitchum-Bass, Mike Wilcox-Guitar, Billy ''D''-Harmonica, Tyrone Belcher-Keyboards, Rod Stewart-MC & Sound.

BA - What are your planes for your next CD? -- and do you have a titel?

TS : The plains for the new CD, if everything goes well the new CD will be out somewhere around the first of October. It up to the Recorder company. The title of the CD ''Until You''.

BA - What are you planes for the future with concerts in and around Europe.

TS : Plains for the future, I'll be going to England, Australia and Japan, September - October, with my band, I would love to come back to Vienna again.

Eure Formation machte uns absolut Freude und bot im Reigen einen Ohrenschmaus vom Feinsten, bitte weiter so.

Zu den beiden "Guests", Toni und Eddie, blieb mir nur Staunen. Super Lady mit Charme und toller Stimme und dem Teufelsjungen seine Riffs, unfassbar!!!!!!

Ich dachte bisher immer Eric Clapton spielt überragend Gitarre .....

Einziger Schmerz der mir blieb, ich hatte aufgrund völliger Vertrottelung meinen Fotoapparat nicht mit.

Insgesamt war der Abend mit Euch im Reigen eine einzige Bereicherung.

Die G.G. King Bluesband bestritt ein ausgezeichnetes Set im Alleingang, mit sehr viel Druck und Feingefühl kamen die B.B. King Songs in gekonntester Weise dem Publikum nahe, welches mit sattem Beifall belohnte.

Danach war angesagt die Blues Lady TONI SPEARMAN. Ich hatte keine Ahnung wer "SIE" ist, dafür überraschte sie mich mit einem "totalen Set" an Emotion und Kraft ---- eigentlich eine perfekte Show ---- die Kommunikation mit dem Publikum, die Stimmung, welche sie verbreitete und abgerundet mit einer Performance, welche ich zu schätzen weiß, wenn ich in den USA zu Konzerten gehe. Dabei tat SIE genau dies, was man hierzulande kaum erlebt, SIE aktivierte die einzelnen Musiker der G. G. King Band zu solistischen Einlagen und dabei konnte man Qualität feststellen, die man vorher nicht lauschen konnte (....der Pianist, Saxofonist und Bassist - sie alle boten klangliche Perfektion bei ihren Solis).
Ein "Super Set" !!!!! ---- Danke TONI !!!!!

Fritz sagte mir, warte ab, es kommt noch besser, wenn EDDIE TURNER Gitarre spielt, singt und mit TONI wird es ein weiterer Höhepunkt!!!!

Es war ein "Highlight", vom Anfang an, bis zur letzten Note die gespielt wurde. (Fritz war sauer, denn die zweite Videocassette war voll und er hatte nicht die Möglichkeit mehr aufzunehmen). Egal wie, das Erlebnis zählte. EDDIE in totaler Stimmung heizte dem Publikum ein, dass es nur so staunte ---- mit TONI'S Vocalbeitrag waren unter anderem Mississippi Stücke zu hören, die man in Austria selten zu Gehör bekommt, vorallem in dieser Qualität. "Dieser Abend war für mich ein echtes Erlebnis und ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn die Manager des REIGENS und des Austrian-Blues Festivals mehr Konzerte dieser Güte bieten würden."

Ich bedanke mich trotzdem für "fast zwei Wochen" Bluesmusik der verschiedensten ART in Vienna.
